Bid Manager and Commercial Officer – Airbus Helicopters
Job Summary
The Bid Manager and Commercial Officer will support the Senior Commercial Operations Manager on AHUK major campaigns, formulate and execute business capture strategies, produce bid proposals, and assist in contract execution and back‑office duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Help devise and execute a winning bid strategy, identifying differentiators and understanding customer requirements.
- Create and maintain bid schedules aligned with procurement timelines and Airbus Offer Processes.
- Organise and facilitate cross‑functional meetings and reviews throughout the campaign life‑cycle.
- Research, write, assemble, and verify proposal contributions from internal staff and suppliers to ensure timely submission.
- Support proposal activity including document control, formatting, and general campaign support.
- Maintain the reusable library, refreshing existing material to ensure relevance.
- Implement lessons‑learned to continuously improve processes and tools.
- Lead the finance team in building the bid business case.
- Ensure bid data is stored appropriately and shared fully across stakeholders.
- Assess technical and commercial risk of bids.
- Assist with project launch and handover to delivery team when bids are successful.
Qualifications
