Overview
In this role you lead wind tunnel test campaigns and coordinate cross-functional efforts to support Airbus’ aerodynamic testing programs. You integrate technical requirements into test plans, cost estimates, and formal documentation, while ensuring safe execution with external facilities. You validate results within a digital environment and collaborate with the wider Aerodynamics team to drive insights. This position offers global exposure, hands-on testing, and the chance to shape performance in both Filton and partner facilities.

Responsibilities
- Initiate and lead wind tunnel test campaigns at Filton and external facilities worldwide
- Translate technical requirements into test plans, costs, and formal documentation (Specifications, Programmes, Memoranda)
- Coordinate technical specialists and liaise with external wind tunnel operators to ensure safe, successful testing
- Validate aerodynamic results during testing and collaborate within the digital environment and Aerodynamics team
Key requirements
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent in applied aerodynamics
- Technical knowledge of wind tunnel testing methodologies, experimental hardware, and data correction techniques
- Experience in technical project management with team leadership and stakeholder management
