About us
The Network Management System (NMS) Core team are developing new and exciting cutting edge Software applications using the latest technologies and processes to deliver Network Management, Payload Management and Terminal Management solutions to countries all over the globe.
The team is made up of a multi-functional set of Engineers covering Systems, Software and Test Engineering and follow an agile approach to their development.
With a collaborative and inclusive approach to their work the team are collocated to provide a better, more interactive work environment where you will be encouraged to engage and proactively support in the successful delivery of each project.
As part of this degree apprenticeship, you will be studying towards achieving a BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions which will be provided by Southampton Solent University
What you will be doing
- Working within a collaborative team environment to develop SysML models, based upon an MBSE approach, to meet customer Requirements;
 - Liaising with the Development and Test teams to demonstrate and ensure the capabilities captured on the product backlog are delivered to the correct level of maturity;
 - Working with the core team to ensure a thorough understanding of the defined solution across the development and test teams;
 - Supporting the Product Owner with backlog refinement, where needed, to fully define user stories and acceptance criteria;
 - Providing support to the System and Software Design Authorities in defining a solution that meets the customer requirements using the latest technologies and agile processes.
 
Requirements
- 3 A-Levels standard or equivalent, graded C/4 or above, to include 2 STEM based subjects such as Maths, Physics, ICT, Computing, Electronics;
 - Equivalent qualifications (subject to validation from University).

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance OR You will be subject to a BPSS check (including a criminal record check).
RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK: Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work in the United Kingdom for the full duration of the programme.
LEVY FUNDING: Successful candidates must be eligible for the levy funding.
