Overview
We are seeing a Test Manager to lead the overall test definition aspects of the project assigned to you. You will be accountable for defining the test approach to meet customer requirements and managing the team to deliver against this approach. You will be training other engineers and leading by example.
How You Will Contribute To The Team
- Using appropriate tools and techniques to verify and validate deliverables to standards defined in the BMS and specification requirements.
- Keeping abreast of technological/engineering developments and industry issues, and interacting with Engineering Management to continuously improve engineering.
- Managing the production of test and verification strategies/plans that minimise risk by confirming the validity of the technical solution early and cost‑effectively, and verifying that subcontractors’ deliverables fully meet their contracted requirements.
- Advising in the creation/use of the System Reference Model or other test environments.
- Being accountable for a Verification Cross Reference Index of test and verification status against requirements.
- Being accountable for the defect management process with regard to T&V.
About You
Formal qualification in testing – Advanced Manager level of ISTQB in Software Testing. Formal qualification in project management – e.g. Prince 2 Practitioner. Formal training in project planning tools.
