In this role you drive commodity strategy for Ground Segment equipment, enabling value and innovation through global sourcing and supplier partnerships. You will lead the core entry point for commodities within cross-functional teams, aligning with procurement policies and risk management. The position supports multiple programme lines and contributes to strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier performance improvements. You will work in Portsmouth with hybrid options, contributing to a mission-driven organization focused on sustainable space and defense efforts.

Responsibilities
- Shape and implement the commodity strategy for Ground Segment (Antennas, Services and IT infrastructure/Software)
- Lead end-to-end sourcing activities (CFT, RFP) and contract management
- Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships and monitor performance
- Collaborate within MFT/MDT as the primary entry point for commodity products and services
- Identify and drive value-creation projects and innovations
- Ensure robust risk management across the supply chain
