Role Overview: The main focus of this role is to ensure that Airbus in-orbit Spacecraft Payload activities are conducted safely to maximize the spacecraft\’s useful life. The role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with some UK and European travel potentially required. Responsibilities include: Monitoring of spacecraft payload subsystems. Providing trend analysis data and reports. Supporting on-station and prospective operations. Collaborating with design and operations teams to optimize spacecraft operations. Monitoring new spacecraft during various phases. Supporting testing and reporting activities. Providing expertise in payload and RF systems for bids and projects. Candidate Requirements: BEng in Communications Engineering, Physics, Maths, or equivalent. Experience in Payload Engineering covering UHF, SHF, and Ka wavebands and relevant hardware.
