Role Overview
We are looking for the next person to join our Defence Digital and Cyber UK Marketing Team as Senior Marketing Manager (SMM). You will have a strategic role with a strong contribution to business growth, that requires a high level of maturity and autonomy. You will support the marketing and sales teams at several levels: strategic market analysis, business development, content creation, and coordination across different functions. You will report to the HO Marketing for Defence Digital & Cyber, within Airbus Defence and Space and be based onsite in our Newport office. We can offer you an international environment exposed to the latest digital defence technologies.
Responsibilities
- Define product positioning, value propositions, and messaging for military and civil defence customers to support campaigns and business development
- Conduct market, competitor, and customer analyses
- Support portfolio management and program management on product roadmap definition
- Identify new business opportunities together with the Sales team and the regional teams
- Develop marketing strategies and tactics to expand market reach and to grow the business
- Lead go-to-market activities for new and existing Defence Digital products and solutions
- Drive priorities based on company strategy and operational needs
- Manage stakeholders in other functions and countries for the above activity areas (mainly sales, regional representatives, engineering, portfolio management, and communications)
- Ensure relevant information and knowledge sharing with relevant stakeholders
About You (Qualifications)
- Marketing, business, technical education and background
- Experience in a role related to the defence industry
- Experience in business development and strategic marketing
- Leveraging different marketing channels: Content, Digital, and B2G
- In-depth knowledge of Strategic & Market analysis
- Leverage tools such as Salesforce, AI, and dashboards
- Project management with a delivery mindset
