How You Will Contribute To The Team
As a Network Engineer/ Architect, you will be responsible for technology development, integration testing, deployment, and product lifecycle management for Network Security Products. Your contribution will include:
- Maintain and manage changes during the lifecycle of the Network Products whilst improving efficiency, quality and productivity aspects
- Contribute to analysis of console messages, diagnose system failures and take corrective action in order to ensure continuity of operations, escalating to other technical teams and vendors as needed
- Supervise system backup processing, and lead disaster recovery tests. Identify and implement technologies and processes that improve the reliability, efficiency and availability of the systems environment
- Ensure operational continuity and system reliability by managing ITIL support processes, diagnosing failures, and executing backup/disaster recovery protocols
- Manage the full product lifecycle, including all economic aspects such as budget planning
About You
- Background in IT/Telecommunications with experience in Data Centre Network Technologies (BGP, OSPF and routing protocols, QoS, Routers communities, VRFs, IP Management)
- Experience in Cisco devices alongside network and security management platforms (ACI, Firewalls)
- Experience in encryption alongside Network certifications (Encryption protocols: https, IPSEC... / Crypto boxes: Computemtica, Genua, Cisco manufacturers)
