About the Role
We are seeking a Systems Architect to design and develop complex systems for geospatial projects and cloud‑based solutions, using in‑house or cloud infrastructure. The role will contribute to the organisational capabilities and the geospatial products and services portfolio design and development.
How You Will Contribute to the Team
- Capture and analyse stakeholder needs, both functional and non‑functional, translating them into comprehensive technical geospatial product requirements and defining architectural solutions.
- Design and model functionality and physical systems, expressing solutions at an appropriate level of detail for the audience.
- Evaluate technical options considering the appropriate level of detail, wider impacts, and available technology.
- Lead the technical architecture, integration and potential deployment of the solution and the related IT infrastructure.
About You
- Proven experience as a System Architect, with cloud experience.
- INCOSE System Engineering CSEP certification or an equivalent is desired.
- Experience with Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) from conceptual through detailed design, and knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and NAF.
- Knowledge of IT security, security by design, privacy by design and cloud technology, including design, development and management of robust, secure, scalable, highly available and dynamic cloud solutions.
- Understanding of the management and provision of solution infrastructure, including processing, storage, networking, high‑availability, resilience and backup.
