How You Will Contribute To The Team
As a Network Engineer/ Architect, you will be responsible for technology development, integration testing, deployment, and product lifecycle management for Network Security Products. Your contribution will include:
- Maintain and manage changes during the lifecycle of the Network Products whilst improving efficiency, quality and productivity aspects
- Contribute to analysis of console messages, diagnose system failures and take corrective action in order to ensure continuity of operations, escalating to other technical teams and vendors as needed
- Supervise system backup processing, and lead disaster recovery tests.
- Identify and implement technologies and processes that improve the reliability, efficiency and availability of the systems environment
- Ensure operational continuity and system reliability by managing ITIL support processes, diagnosing failures, and executing backup/disaster recovery protocols
- Manage the full product lifecycle, including all economic aspects such as budget planning
About You
Background in IT/Telecommunications with experience in Data Centre Network Technologies (BGP, OSPF and routing protocols, QoS, Routers communities, VRFs, IP Management). Experience in Cisco devices alongside network and security management platforms (ACI, Firewalls). Experience in encryption alongside Network certifications (Encryption protocols: https, IPSEC... / Crypto boxes: Computemtica, Genua, Cisco manufacturers).
