Overview
AGGP2026 – Graduate Space Digital System Engineer start date September 2026. This role is part of the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, a personalized, two-year experience designed to develop professional skills, business acumen, and technical abilities, with emphasis on developing leadership potential from day one. You will join a global graduate community with an annual development week and contribute in a specific, impactful position within the Mission Systems are of digital connectivity.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Systems Engineer to join our engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate with a background in systems engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field to work in a hands-on, collaborative environment. You will support the development, integration, and lifecycle management of complex systems across multiple domains within the Mission Systems area of digital connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, integration, and testing of systems and subsystems.
- Contribute to requirements definition, traceability, and validation processes.
- Support system architecture development and modeling using tools such as SysML or MBSE platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and project management.
- Assist with system performance analysis and trade studies.
- Participate in risk assessments and mitigation planning.
- Support documentation efforts including system specifications, test plans, and design reviews.
- Conduct research and stay updated on emerging technologies and industry standards.
At Airbus you will work with leading technologies, supporting the design of Defence mission critical systems and end-to-end communications systems across the globe, using tools such as MBSE/SYSML, Pforge/Jira, DOORs, Python/Java, C++, Enterprise Architectures/Cameo, and CAD.
Qualifications
- A degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study; recently graduated or first professional experience in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication in English.
- Desire to work in a collaborative team environment focused on driving future innovation.
- Self-awareness and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
