We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join Airbus Defence & Space working on Ground Control systems for Military Satellite Communications in Portsmouth, UK. The Systems Engineer will provide support to the Delivery of a Milsatcom Ground Control system.
*HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM *
* Requirements analysis, traceability and verification.
* Bill of Materials / Assembly Tree Management.
* Integration, Verification Validation and Test (IVV&T) support.
* Problem Definition, Non-Conformance and Observation recording and tracking.
* Systems Engineering inputs as required – to support planning, schedule and cost activities.
* Ground System level architectural design definition and trade-offs.
* Technical proposal inputs and support to bidding teams
*ABOUT YOU*
* University degree or equivalent in a related discipline
* System of Systems or Large Scale Integration Experience
* Experience of engagement with customers and partners
* Working understanding of satellite control
