About you
- This role will suit someone who has Research, Academia or Industry experience with ONE of the following:
- Astrophysics or Electrical/Electronics Engineering with a genuine interest in space
- Radiation and Nuclear Hardening
- Someone who brings ideas to the table and holds your hand up with questions or spotting red flags.
- Interested in working on advanced spacecraft projects such as Rovers and Satellites for Telecoms, Military/MOD and scientific (Deforestation, pollution and ice cap monitoring) clients
- Builds positive working relationships and contributes to a respectful, collaborative team environment. Is comfortable providing and receiving feedback within a team environment
How you will Contribute to the team
- Learn about Radiation and Nuclear Hardening with self-directed learning, shadowing and using the team's knowledge and expertise including local experts
- Produce and review relevant documentation - project drawings, performance analysis, bid proposals, radiation analysis, cost estimates, and schedules
- Maintain technical liaison with suppliers, customer representatives
- Generate component test specification and managing radiation testing of components, project specific environment specifications
- Analyse the results and ascertain if the results are correct or need revising
- Experience of prioritising tasks based on information and project needs, rather than how loud someone is being
