Are you an experienced Java developer with Microservices expertise? Passionate about Agile environments? Interested in a stable, technical role contributing to developing Management Systems for satellite solutions? Then we have the role for you!
This role is a programming-focused, hands‑on technical role, involving core development, validation, automation testing, and some firefighting. You will contribute across the full software development life cycle, from design (UML/SysML) through development and test.
How You Will Contribute To The Team
- Development of code within an agile environment (scrum) in line with the System Design.
- Development of Unit Tests to support developed code
- Alignment to project coding standards and guidelines
- Ability to work closely and interact with both System and Test Engineers.
- Support Task estimation in accordance with sprint planning.
- Attend daily stand‑up meetings, Sprint retrospectives and Iteration reviews.
- Attend Product Team Reviews, as needed, to understand the System Model and validate maturity
ABOUT YOU – Your Skills
- Solid background in programming and validating Java software within a MicroServices environment. We currently use Java 21 and Spring Boot 3.35
- Knowledge of Spring Boot and the Spring Framework with experience of developing in Spring with Hibernate
- Solid knowledge of Web Services using RESTful APIs
- Good communication skills to champion tech approaches and help lead tech transformations
