AEC is looking to grow our training team and bring in a brand new Asbestos & Legionella Trainer. This role will be responsible for the delivery and design of open and bespoke asbestos and legionella training courses and training of internal AEC colleagues.

In this role you will deliver engaging and impactful training sessions to diverse audiences, design and develop training materials tailored to various learning styles, assess learners' needs and adapt strategies to ensure their success as well as providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to help participants thrive.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Delivery of training courses, covering BOHS, IATP and other awarding bodies, covering internal staff training and external fee-paying delegates
  • Create, design, deliver and evaluate courses
  • Ensuring training courses run smoothly
  • Liaising with the training administrator, training manager, trainers and other colleagues
  • Liaison with clients regarding training needs
  • Collate course delegate feedback forms and pass on to training administrator
  • Scanning of training course documents and certificate generating
  • Building relationships with key clients and develop these relationships
  • Liaising with other trainers about use of shared resources
  • Attending monthly training meetings
  • Occasional away and weekend work dependent on client needs

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • 3 years Asbestos site experience minimum, BOHS qualifications ranging from P401-P405 and/or CoCA
  • 3 years Legionella site experience minimum, BOHS qualifications ranging from P900-P904
  • Background in asbestos and/or health and safety
  • Background in legionella risk assessments and health and safety
  • Communicate effectively with people as a trainer
  • Flexible
