At AEC, we are a well-established compliance business, looking after the built environment and workplace supporting our customers to manage the risks from asbestos, water and fire safety and occupational hygiene services.
We are looking for a Commercial Administrator to join our dynamic team. This is a varied role that combines bid administration, commercial coordination and data management to help support the continued growth of our business. You will assist with the strategic coordination of high-value contract bids and support the overall commercial team with the monitoring of automated systems.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the administration and coordination of tender submissions from opportunity through to submission
- Utilising tender search tools, such as Find a Tender, to identify key, relevant opportunities to obtain new contracts
- Supporting the scheduling and monitoring of recurring commercial works, including anniversary reviews and automated workflows
- Tracking, reviewing, and submitting tenders that help grow our business
- Using AI tools to filter opportunities and drive efficiencies
- Maintaining bid trackers, commercial reports and opportunity pipelines
- Monitoring and managing portals, uploading documents, chasing stakeholders, and ensuring every submission is fully complete, compliant, and on time
- Keeping tabs on industry trends and building powerful pipeline reports for our sales team
- Working side-by-side with our Bid Manager to proof, polish, and upload winning proposals
- Liaising with stakeholders and other colleagues across the business to gather information required for bid submissions
- Providing administrative support to the wider commercial team as required
