The Scottish Chamber Orchestra is seeking an ambitious and highly organised fundraiser with excellent writing and relationship-building skills to join our Development Team as Trusts and Foundations Officer.
You will help grow income from trusts, foundations and project-based statutory funders, managing a portfolio of existing and prospective funders and researching new funding opportunities. You will write compelling cases for support, funding applications and reports, develop strong relationships with grant-makers and help demonstrate the impact of the SCO's artistic, learning and participation work.
Reporting to the Senior Philanthropy Manager, you will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to identify and develop funding opportunities, manage and steward existing grants and contribute to the SCO's ambitious plans for fundraising growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their fundraising career as part of a supportive and growing Development team.
