We are seeking a proactive and organised Facilities Supervisor to join our Estates & Facilities team. As a Facilities Supervisor, you will lead the facilities team during your shift, overseeing operational activities, coordinating room setups, managing service requests, and maintaining high standards of safety, security, and housekeeping across the campus. You will act as Duty Manager outside regular office hours, responding to incidents and emergencies while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
The successful candidate will have experience supervising teams or operational processes within a facilities, security, or customer service environment. You will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, be confident using systems such as Outlook, and demonstrate the ability to remain calm under pressure and make informed decisions in emergency situations. Manual handling training is essential, while First Aid, Fire Marshal, or Health & Safety qualifications are advantageous.
This full-time role operates on a shift rota, including some evenings and weekends, with an additional shift allowance payable. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy leading teams to deliver outstanding service, we would love to hear from you.
This post is offered on a fixed-term basis for 6 months and is immediately available.
Salary: Grade 6, £35,381 - £39,107 per annum plus Shift Allowance of £4,886 per annum. Appointments will normally be made to the first point of the grade.
