The Programme and Orchestras team is responsible for the planning and delivery of all NCO activity, including weeks, weekends, days, extensive auditions, and new Wider Access and Partnerships initiatives. The role is a Music Librarian on a fixed‑term maternity cover contract, working three days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the NCO Music Library, maintaining all owned material and coordinating the acquisition of hired music.
- Work with conductors, music tutors, composers and arrangers to ensure repertoire is suitable for NCO young musicians.
- Create preparation and practice parts and upload them to MyNCO, the website for NCO young musicians.
- Prepare, clean, and circulate scores and parts for all NCO activity.
