Position Overview
The role focuses on providing sewing and maintenance support to the costume department, assisting in the alteration, repair and upkeep of costumes for rehearsals, performances and tours, and offering touring assistance to the costume running team on larger productions.
The role requires ensuring high standards of quality, speed and economic efficiency while adhering to Health & Safety and Security policies.
Responsibilities
- Provide sewing and making support to the costume department.
- Assist in the alteration, maintenance and repair of costumes for rehearsals, performances and tours.
- Provide tour support to the costume running team on larger productions.
- Provide additional support with show footwear.
- Achieve and ensure the maintenance of the highest standards of quality, speed and economic efficiency with due regard to Health & Safety and Security policies.
