Position Overview: This post offers a permanent, full‑time role available immediately, providing high‑quality audio‑visual services across teaching spaces, performance venues, and specialist recording studios within the Creative Performance Technologies team.

Responsibilities: As AV and Systems Manager you will maintain and develop AV systems such as lecture capture, broadcast and livestreaming technology, studio equipment and Mac‑based music production labs. You will collaborate with IT, Digital Learning and production teams, offering technical expertise, supporting system design and upgrades, and leading small to medium AV installation projects. A proportion of the role will involve hands‑on studio work including recording sessions and live broadcasts, as well as helpdesk support, asset management, equipment lifecycle planning and user training for staff and students.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate has proven experience in AV or broadcast engineering, with strong knowledge of recording, filming and streaming technologies. You are confident working with Mac systems, networks and specialist audio/video software, and possess excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
