The Community You Will Join: Airbnb is seeking a Strategic Partnerships & Business Development Lead to support France and the UK territory, reporting to both Country Managers. This role requires office presence in London, with frequent travel to Paris.

- Partner closely with global brand, partnership, marketing, legal, finance, and product teams to develop and execute local partnerships.
- Ability to negotiate agreements, discuss structure terms and ensure brand alignment.
- Identify opportunities for establishing partnerships and business development activities that support our business goals into 2026.
- Model the financial and strategic impact of partnerships, defining and tracking KPIs to measure partnership success and report results to senior leadership.
- Ensure excellent execution and ongoing management of partnerships and business development activities and seamless coordination across all business areas.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential partners and collaboration opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic business partnerships activities in the territory and collaborate with Partnerships, Bizops, Supply, Marketing, Comms, Finance and Legal functions in the territory and across EMEA.
- Partner with global brand, partnership, marketing, legal, finance, and product teams to develop and execute local partnerships.
- Negotiate agreements, discuss structure terms, and ensure brand alignment.
- Identify opportunities for establishing partnerships and business development activities aligned to business goals through 2026.
- Model the financial and strategic impact of partnerships, define and track KPIs, and report results to senior leadership.
- Ensure excellent execution and ongoing management of partnerships and business development activities with seamless cross-functional coordination.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential partners and collaboration opportunities.
- Support the flexible, temporary nature of the assignment and related employment arrangements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in partnership-related roles (e.g., Business Development, Partner Management).
- Growth-focused with deep business acumen to conduct market research and anticipate product and business needs.
- Strong strategic and critical thinking skills; ability to connect dots and proactively develop proposals and solutions.
- Strong data analysis and modeling skills; basic data science skills are a plus.
- Proven partnership management experience.
- Knowledge of local culture and environment as crucial in fostering successful local partnerships.
- Ability to build relationships and influence internal executives and external partners.
- Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to handle complexity and changing priorities.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with persistence, optimism, and problem-solving focus to improve hosts’ and guests’ experiences.
- Excellent communication across functions and management levels, with ability to align stakeholders when viewpoints diverge.
This temporary assignment will be working at Airbnb and may involve working at an Airbnb site. You will be contracted through Magnit Global, a UK-registered employment business.
