Located in London with frequent travel to Paris, this role reports to both Country Managers and focuses on driving strategic business partnerships across the territory. The position is a temporary assignment, contracted through Magnit Global.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with global brand, partnership, marketing, legal, finance, and product teams to develop and execute local partnerships.
  • Negotiate agreements, discuss structure terms, and ensure brand alignment.
  • Identify opportunities for partnerships and business development activities supporting Airbnb’s goals through 2026.
  • Model the financial and strategic impact of partnerships, defining and tracking KPIs to measure partnership success and reporting results to senior leadership.
  • Ensure excellent execution and ongoing management of partnerships, ensuring seamless coordination across all business areas.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential partners and collaboration opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in partnership‑related roles (e.g., Business Development, Partner Management).
  • Growth obsessed mindset.
  • Deep business acumen to conduct extensive market research and anticipate product and business needs.
  • Strong strategic and critical thinking skills—ability to connect dots and proactively develop proposals and solutions.
  • Strong data analysis and modeling skills; basic data science skills are a plus.
  • Proven partnership management experience.
  • Knowledge of local culture and environment to foster successful local partnerships.
  • Ability to build relationships, influence internal executive stakeholders, and maintain long‑term external relationships.
  • Strong project management and organization skills.
  • Capability to deal with complexity and adapt to changing business priorities.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit—persistent and optimistic when faced with setbacks, tackling complex problems to improve hosts’ and guests’ lives.
  • Excellent communicator across all functions and management levels, naturally leading alignment when viewpoints diverge.
