Job Title: Project Co-Ordinator (2 Years Fixed Term Contract)
Location: Southwest (Tiverton)
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Salary: Β£28,000
Role Summary:
The main purpose of the Project Co-Ordinator role is to work with both the Project Manager and Build Partners closely on a daily basis and to support and coordinate all aspects of the build and planning of the projects effectively. You will assist and ensure that deliverables are completed on time, on budget and to agreed quality standards. The role will also require you supporting the Project Manager in providing both internal and external reporting data & KPIβs.
Responsibilities:
- Gather all project information: schedules, data requests, assignments, tasks, and project meetings. Updating relevant trackers and systems with this data.
- Work with project team to understand and assist with tracking all work, task and project assignments.
- Monitor and modify project schedules in conjunction with the PM and BP when required.
- Maintain document control, database management, track project activities and team communication.
- Assist project team in meetings and follow up with meeting notes.
- Assist PM with Project status and reports for both External and Internal Stakeholders
- Order and track materials/equipment to ensure availability for installation dates.
- Deal with site and engineering issues.
- Work with 3rd suppliers to ensure all projects remain on track & to cost
- Assist with validating, creating and monitoring all design and build project related Purchase Orders and DFE budgets.
- Collate and provide reports on all 3rd party supplier spend for items outside of PO cover (Traffic Management, CAD drawings, Permits, FPNβs/Street works costs)
You need to be a team player, understand basic financial models and rate cards, be able to communicate and report effectively using a suite of packages including Microsoft and bespoke systems. You will also be responsible for liaising with third partners and suppliers and keeping the team up to date with delivery dates. Accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
