The NPI (New Product Introduction) Lead plays a critical role in launching new telecom products and services, ensuring they meet performance, scalability, and regulatory standards. This role coordinates cross-functional teams to deliver seamless transitions from concept to commercial deployment across network infrastructure, consumer devices, and enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Create an NPI framework
- Lead end-to-end NPI programs for telecom hardware, software, and service offerings.
- Collaborate with R&D, product management, network engineering, and operations to define launch requirements and success metrics.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, risk assessments, and readiness reviews for new product rollouts.
- Ensure compliance with telecom standards and regional regulatory requirements.
- Oversee trials, field testing, and pilot deployments to validate product performance and interoperability.
- Coordinate with supply chain and vendors to ensure timely availability of components and systems.
- Drive continuous improvement through post-launch reviews and lessons learned.
- Launch new products to market eg: (Security, mesh routers, 1gbps FWA)
- Ensuring Technical readiness, business impact analysis, customer proposition readiness
- KPI targets defined- Market penetration rate for each product
- Existing customer penetration rate for each product
- Total sales revenue for each product
- ARPU for each product
