Airband is a leading internet service provider delivering high-speed broadband to rural communities. We offer solutions including Fibre to the Premises and Fixed Wireless Solutions. As we continue to grow our customer base, we are looking for a Quality Auditor to drive quality and professional standards across the business. You will conduct thorough inspections and audits of network build and installation, reporting on all findings and building a reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities
- Collate business and contract quality statistics and submit to the Head of Quality.
- Lead on quality initiatives, providing advice and support to regional build teams.
- Conduct inspections and audits across all business functions to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards, including PIA compliance and Airband build/installation standards.
- Assist in preparing reports and analyzing the quality performance based on inspections and audits.
- Review quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Monitor and review contractor and sub-contractor quality performance regularly.
- Highlight strengths and best practices in quality for adoption by other teams.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with managers, supervisors, employees, contractors, and external resources.
- Investigate instances of poor quality, identify root causes, and develop action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Drive continuous improvement programs through analysis, process audits, and collaborative activities.
- Ensure compliance with PIA and Airband standards and principles.
- Perform monthly QC checks on test results and cabinet documents.
- Maintain records of assessments and report findings to management monthly.
Key Skills
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills suitable for clients, subcontractors, and colleagues.
- Accreditation in telecom network installation (e.g., poleing, cabling).
- Experience in monitoring quality standards.
- Certificates/Tickets Essential: Emergency First Aid, SA001A OH Safety Awareness, SA002 UG Safety Awareness, S5 Pole Survey, S6 Duct Survey, NOPS Card, NRSWA-O1 SLG.
- Desirable: Lead Auditor ISO 9001, Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling, Static Boom (1b), Mobile Boom (3b), S011 FTTP Surveyors, S013 Network Regulations for Surveyors.
