As a Technical Product Manager, Core Systems, you will play a key role in shaping and improving the internal tools and systems that power Airalo’s operations. You will work closely with multiple internal departments to understand their needs, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and guide the development of systems that enhance scalability, efficiency, and collaboration across the company. You will own the product lifecycle for internal systems, from requirements gathering and prioritisation to incremental delivery and release. You will collaborate with engineering teams to refine technical specifications, plan sprints, and ensure smooth rollouts of new features and tools. You thrive at the intersection of technology and business needs. You enjoy translating complex requirements into clear, structured deliverables, and are passionate about building systems that empower teams to work smarter. Your success will come from your ability to balance technical understanding, stakeholder management, and delivery.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to gather, analyse, and prioritise system requirements.
- Define the roadmap and backlog for internal tools and platforms that enable core business functions.
- Break down large initiatives into smaller, incremental deliverables aligned with agile development practices.
- Partner closely with engineering teams to refine requirements, clarify use cases, and ensure technical feasibility.
- Document product requirements, user flows, and release notes to maintain clarity and alignment.
- Coordinate smooth release cycles by working hand-in-hand with developers, QA, and stakeholders.
- Monitor system performance, adoption, and feedback to identify areas of improvement and optimisation.
- Ensure all internal tools meet security, scalability, and reliability standards.
- Support the continuous improvement of development and release processes for internal systems.
Must-haves:
- 3+ years of building digital products as a product manager with exposure to technical or system-focused products.
- Strong understanding of software systems, architecture, and integrations.
- Proven experience collaborating with engineering teams to define and deliver technical solutions.
- Experience translating high-level business requirements into actionable technical specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to breaking down complexity.
- Experience working in agile/scrum environments.
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good to have:
- Background in software engineering, computer science, or a technical discipline.
- Familiarity with APIs, databases, and system integrations.
- Experience in a high-growth or distributed environment.
- Experience working in a remote work environment.
- Experience with Jira, Figma, QuickSight, Looker Studio, Google Analytics, Firebase, Typeform, Mixpanel.
