Ready to make travel easier for millions? Airalo is the world’s first and largest eSIM store, helping travellers stay connected seamlessly in over 200 countries and regions. We value empathy, ownership, and innovation, and trust our team to take initiative, put the customer first, and grow together while making a real impact every day.

Our People team is built on our core values; Empathy, Ownership, Innovation, Trust, Growth and Customer-first. We’re big believers in "automating the boring" so we can focus on what actually matters: building the processes, policies, and culture that make Airalo a great place to work. In this role, you’ll join a brilliant, inclusive team that loves learning from one another. We take our mission seriously and we show up for each other every day, but we never forget to have a bit of fun along the way.

This role is all about shaping how our teams experience work at Airalo, from how we hire and onboard, to how we support growth, performance, and connection across a fully distributed company. You’ll collaborate closely with leaders and teammates around the world, bringing creative ideas to life while having the autonomy to try new approaches and make things better as you go. If you enjoy building people-first programs, care deeply about culture, and want your work to have a real impact on how people show up every day, you’ll feel right at home here.

Your next adventure awaits! Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:

  • Act as the sole creator and driver of our company-wide learning roadmap, balancing high-level scope with a hands-on approach.
  • Design, deliver, and evolve training programs that equip our team leads and managers with the skills to motivate and guide their remote teams.
  • Partner closely with department heads (Tech, Sales, Product, etc.) to identify skills gaps and source or build specialised, technical training that unlocks team potential.
  • Create and facilitate learning experiences tailored specifically for a distributed team, ensuring programs are interactive, community-building, and engaging.
  • Prioritise training that solves real business problems, focusing on measurable growth and practical application rather than just "checking a box."
  • Mix the best of both worlds by creating bespoke internal content while sourcing and managing high-quality external vendors and educational tools.
  • You are capable and comfortable to handle an L&D budget, understand where investment needs to be made and where scrappy solutions can work.

Must Haves:

  • Extensive L&D experience but love being a solo operator. You don't need a team to manage to feel successful; you thrive on personal execution and ownership.
  • A proven track record working in a fully remote, global environment and know the exact tools and techniques needed to keep virtual audiences engaged.
  • A master communicator, facilitator, and storyteller who can build trust quickly across all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong understanding adult learning theories deeply enough to make training highly educational, but you possess the creativity to make it enjoyable and memorable.
  • When you see a departmental bottleneck, your first instinct is to build a learning solution for it. You pivot quickly based on feedback and business needs.

Nice to have:

  • Proficiency in using our chosen L&D tool, Sana.

We’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer and value diversity, equity, and inclusion. We do not discriminate based on any protected characteristic and are committed to providing reasonable accommodations during the hiring process.
