  • Design, develop, and validate eSIM Electrical Profiles (MVNO/Roaming) according to GSMA SGP.22 standards.
  • Configure file structures ($EF_{ICCID}$, $EF_{IMSI}$, $EF_{PLMN}$, etc.) and ensure correct applet loading.
  • Manage the generation and testing of Input Files for Subscription Management platforms (SM-DP+).
  • Conduct rigorous testing on the latest iOS and Android flagships (e.g., iPhone 15/16, Samsung S24, Pixel 9) and mid-range devices from global markets (APAC/LATAM/EMEA).
  • Validate the Local Profile Assistant (LPA) behaviour during the Remote SIM Provisioning (RSP) flow—from QR code scanning to the TLS-secured profile download.
  • Plan and execute Over-the-Air (OTA) campaigns to update the eUICC file system ($EF_{PLMN}$, $EF_{IMSI}$) or applet parameters on devices already deployed in the field.
  • Use tools like the COMPRION eSIM Tracer or Ul SIMtester to analyse APDU logs and identify failures in Remote File Management (RFM) or Remote Application Management (RAM) over HTTP, or HTTPS (CAT-TP).
  • Perform "live" OTA testing using network simulators or global roaming testbeds to verify Steering of Roaming (SoR) updates and ensure the device correctly switches to the preferred partner network.
  • Analyse protocol traces (APDU logs) to debug communication issues between the handset and the eUICC.
  • Investigate "No Service" or activation failures specific to international roaming steering.
  • Optimise profile sizes to ensure fast download speeds over varying network conditions (3G to 5G).

Must Haves

  • Three years plus experience in mobile device and OTA configuration and testing.

  • Expertise in Device settings for iOS Apple (Carrier Bundle) and Android including initiatives such as GSMA Network Settings Exchange (NSX).

  • Preference for previous experience at a Tier 1 Carrier, leading MVNO or an eSIM Vendor (G+D, Thales, IDEMIA).
  • Knowledge of Subscription Management orchestration for travel-specific use cases (multi-IMSI, localized breakouts).
  • A "problem solver" mindset—willingness to test niche Android variants from different global markets.

Nice to Have

  • Remote testing (e.g. Segron, Mobilium) experience.
  • Experience with OTA systems e.g. Thales.
  • Knowledge of mobile network call flows (signalling) for 4G and 5G.
  • Scripting languages (e.g. python).
