We're looking for an experienced Heat Pump Installer to join Aira as our new Team Leader, where you'll be responsible for ensuring that high quality heat pump installations are carried out safely and efficiently and leading your team to deliver outstanding customer service every single day.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will be responsible for making sure that installations are carried out according to plan from the teams within your area.
  • You’ll be responsible for 6 - 10 installation teams, which will include Installers, Plumbers, Electricians, and Technical Surveyors.
  • You’ll support your team through proactive planning, on-site training, and targeting continuous improvement wherever it is needed.
  • The role is a mix of on-site work, and administrative or office based work.
  • You will join installations if required, but you will also need to be confident with technology as much of the role will involve utilisation of software including Excel, PowerPoint, Heat Engineer, HubSpot, Outlook, and Teams.

The working hours are Monday - Friday 8-5, however some flexibility will be required if your team needs support outside of these hours. The role of Heat Pump Installation Team Leader at Aira has many routes of progression, with the roles of Operational Excellence Coach, Trainer, Designer, Manager all possible developmental positions. At Aira, we want you to grow with us, and will support you with training in all aspects of personnel management through the Aira Academy.

You will need to be an expert Air Source Heat Pump Installer for this position, and you will need to have Gas Safe qualifications. Experience leading others will be beneficial, however, if you are a Heat Pump Installer ready to take on a new challenge having never managed a team before then we want to hear from you!

What we would like you to have:

  • NVQ level 2 plumbing (or equivalent)
  • Gas Qualifications
  • WRAS Qualifications (Water Regs)
  • Unvented hot water systems (Part G)
  • Experience installing air source heat pumps
  • Experience installing hot water cylinders and radiators
  • Any of the following would be good; Experience leading others
  • NVQ Level 3 plumbing (or equivalent)
  • Level 3 heat pump system design
  • F-Gas Category 1
