About the role
As Heat Pump Trainer at Aira you will be responsible for delivering training in all aspects of Air Source Heat Pump Installation to engineers at our purpose made academy.
You’ll be working at our brand new Aira Academy in Dartford (DA1 4AL), as part of wider training network, inspiring and educating the next generation of Air Source Heat Pump Installers right across Europe.
The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced plumbing and heating engineer, but specific heat pump experience is not essential. As long as you’re interested in becoming an expert with new technologies, and have a passion for teaching then we want to hear from you!
What you’ll be doing as a Heat Pump Trainer at Aira
- Working with your team to develop new and innovative ways of teaching
- Supporting technicians with continuous personal development throughout their career at Aira
- Confidently delivering both practical and theory training in a way that engages and inspires your Aira colleagues
- Engaging pro-actively with your own professional development, to become an expert in renewable heating systems, and the world of clean energy
- Demonstrating best practice for plumbing and heating principals (pipework & soldering, radiators, and cylinders)
What you’ll need as a Heat Pump Trainer at Aira
- You’ll need to have experience installing central heating systems, including pipework, radiators, and unvented cylinders
- Experience of training in the plumbing and heating industry. This could be within a previous company, in a college, or in a training centre
