Air X Jet Support is a UK CAA and EASA approved Maintenance Repair Organisation with approval to provide Line & Base Maintenance services on our parent company fleet of CL-600, EMB-135 and ERJ-190 series aircraft.
We are now looking for a reliable and hands-on IT Support Officer to join its office-based team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in IT support who’s ready to grow in a fast paced, technical environment.
This role reports to the Chief Technology Officer and is based at the London Stansted Diamond Hangar facility working a Monday to Friday shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support for hardware and software issues.
- Install and configure operating systems, devices, and peripherals.
- Set up workstations and user accounts for new joiners.
- Assist with IT inventory management and procurement.
- Perform routine IT-related checks and procedures.
- Monitor and maintain Wi Fi access points, network infrastructure, and internet connectivity.
- Manage and support CCTV and access control systems.
- Provide IT support to staff, crew, and engineers on site.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar IT support or helpdesk role.
- Basic knowledge of Office 365 applications.
- Familiarity with Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft Intune, and TCP/IP networking.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage and prioritise issues effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A valid and clean UK driving licence is preferred.
Education & Experience
- Diploma-level education in IT or industry certification (e. g. Comp TIA A+), or equivalent hands-on experience.
