We’re looking for a detail-oriented Temporary Accountant to support a rapid year-end close, with a primary focus on reconciliations (\”recs\”). This is a critical, short-term assignment requiring precision and the ability to hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities:
– Perform high-volume balance sheet reconciliations (bank, intercompany, GL, etc.).
– Assist in finalising month-end and year-end financial close processes.
– Investigate and resolve discrepancies to ensure audit-ready accuracy.
– Collaborate with finance teams to maintain compliance and streamline reporting.
Must-Have Experience:
– Proven year-end close expertise in accounting/finance.
– Strong reconciliation skills (bank recs, ledger matching, etc.).
– Hands-on experience with SAGE 200 (essential).
