This established and growing Surrey-based accountancy practice is looking for a Tax Senior to join its highly regarded Private Client team. Working with a diverse portfolio of clients, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services while helping to develop and support more junior members of the team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional looking to broaden their technical exposure, work closely with clients and progress within a supportive and ambitious environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
- Reviewing and preparing complex personal tax returns
- Advising clients on a range of tax matters, including income tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Identifying tax planning opportunities and supporting advisory projects
- Assisting with the development and mentoring of junior team members
- Working closely with partners and senior stakeholders across the business
What we're looking for:
- Strong experience within personal tax gained in an accountancy practice
- Previous experience managing your own client portfolio
- Excellent technical tax knowledge
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- ATT qualified, CTA studying/qualified, or equivalent experience
