Job Description

Events and Marketing Executive, £32K. London – Fulham, Hybrid: four days in the office and one day working from home.

This established medical business is rapidly growing. They are now looking for an ambitious Events and Marketing Executive to support the events team to create and deliver upcoming projects. This Events and Marketing Executive will work closely with the Head of Events and Head of Education.

The Events and Marketing Executive will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of event management and marketing in relation to the company’s major events. This role involves handling logistics, managing workshop details, overseeing online platforms, and contributing to our marketing efforts, as well as providing on-site support.

The Events and Marketing Executive will work within the events team to handle elements such as dinners, security, temporary staffing, entertainment, and signage. You will also work with the sales and programme teams to manage hands-on symposium workshops, including space, signage, and equipment logistics, and oversee the registration systems before and during events are launched properly.

You will be responsible for the online platform for each event, including creating and designing event listings, updating help desk information, and collaborating with partners to import event programmes. You will manage integration with polling tools and sponsors, update mobile apps and notifications, and ensure all platform features are tested and launched properly.

In your marketing role, you will manage announcements, photo galleries, and editorial deadlines, and update and maintain website content for various events. The position also requires some time assisting the events team on-site at the company’s major events, both in the UK and abroad.

The key responsibilities for this Events and Marketing Executive:

• Event Logistics: Coordinate workshops, signage, equipment, and staffing logistics.

• Platform and Registration Management: Oversee online platforms and event registration systems, ensuring smooth functionality and testing of features. Experience with virtual event tools (e.g., Zoom, ON24) is a plus.

• Marketing: Manage announcements, editorial content, and website updates. Familiarity with CMS (e.g., WordPress), email marketing tools (e.g., Campaign Monitor), and basic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is helpful.

• On-site Support: Provide event assistance on-site, both locally and internationally. Flexibility and ability to work under pressure is essential.

• Organisational Skills: Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple tasks efficiently, ensuring smooth execution of complex events while maintaining attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.

• Team Collaboration: Work effectively across teams, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.

• Multitasking and Adaptability: Handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise effectively, and adapt to changing requirements.

• Enthusiasm for Events: A passion for organising successful events and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Essential skills and qualifications of this Events and Marketing Executive:
