The Role: To support our continued organic growth, we are seeking to recruit a member of staff at Assistant Consultant/Graduate grade to work as part of our team of around 35 air quality specialists based in the UK. We provide a comprehensive service relating to modelling, monitoring and assessment of air quality, dust, odour and climate change impacts. You will receive training on the relevant software and skills needed in air quality consultancy, and in‐house support and experience to develop professionally. We actively encourage attendance at external events and membership to professional bodies such as IAQM and IES.
The successful candidate will be involved in exciting air quality and climate change projects across a range of sectors including transport, energy, industry and government. You will work with the team to deliver stand‐alone air quality assessments for new developments, undertake air quality monitoring, prepare chapters for Environmental Statements (including those that form part of Development Consent Order applications) and undertake leading‐edge research projects. Depending on experience and interest, there may be opportunities to support our Environmental Policy and Economics Practice.

Skills and Experience We Are Looking For:
Essential:
- Strong mathematical / quantitative analysis skills
- Good communication skills, both orally and in writing
- Strong technical capability and ability to review and interpret data
- Strong report writing skills
- An understanding of the issues related to air quality including air quality legislation, policy and guidance
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and deliver work to tight deadlines
- High level of proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability and willingness to undertake site‐based monitoring and field work
- A full clean UK driving licence, as travel will be required
Desirable:
- Recent programming and/or machine learning experience
- Statistical analysis skills
Qualifications:
- Relevant A‐Levels or equivalent
- BSc or higher
