Overview
We are seeking Bulk HGV Driver’s to join our team. In this position you will provide timely and accurate delivery of products to Air Products customers and own sites in a safe and compliant manner, within agreed processes and procedures. You will embrace Air Products core safety values, being the safest gas company in the world. The role provides a front-line, business-critical activity, supporting our continuing customer relationships and long-term retention.
Responsibilities
- Adherence to all safety rules, processes, and procedures, as safety is a condition of employment.
- Pre & Post vehicle check in-line with DVSA guidelines, and Air Products standards, which may change from time-to-time.
- Loading, unloading and all other activities associated with product management in-line with Distribution working instructions and procedures available via the RTL Knowledgebase app.
- Successful completion of all LearnEx and regulatory training as required.
- Maintain tachograph infringement level in-line with DVSA/Traffic commissioner expectations, and Air Products standards, whereby regular feedback, monitoring and coaching will be provided to ensure full compliance.
Requirements
- LGV 1 license (HGV Class 1/C+E unrestricted)
- Previous proven tanker driving experience.
- Valid (in date) ADR Training Certificate 2,3,8 minimum
- Valid (in date) Driver\’s CPC Qualification Card (DQC) and evidence of current Periodic Training Status
- Proven track record of working within a safety-first environment.
- Proven track record of ability to drive in a professional manner, and to achieve best in class performance relating to safety and efficiency monitored and supported by digital vehicle data.
