Bulk Tanker Driver Location: Glasgow Salary: £51,516 + Shift Allowances and Bonus
Air Products is a world-leading industrial gas company providing all sorts of gases used in daily life. The Energy transition and Sustainability are key elements of our strategy. We manage projects in carbon capture and operate the world’s largest gasification projects. We invest in the production and distribution of green- and blue hydrogen and are developing a Hydrogen for mobility infrastructure by building and operating Hydrogen fuel stations.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking Bulk HGV Drivers to join our team. In this position, you will provide timely and accurate delivery of products to Air Products customers and own sites in a safe and compliant manner, within agreed processes and procedures. You will embrace Air Products' core safety values, being the safest gas company in the world.
Responsibilities:- Adherence to all safety rules, processes, and procedures, as safety is a condition of employment.
- Pre & Post vehicle checks in-line with DVSA guidelines and Air Products standards.
- Loading, unloading, and all other activities associated with product management in-line with Distribution working instructions and procedures.
- Successful completion of all LearnEx and regulatory training as required.
- Maintain tachograph infringement level in-line with DVSA/Traffic commissioner expectations and Air Products standards.
- LGV 1 license (HGV Class 1/C+E unrestricted)
- Previous proven tanker driving experience.
- Valid (in date) ADR Training Certificate 2, 3, 8 minimum.
- Valid (in date) Driver's CPC Qualification Card (DQC) and evidence of current Periodic Training Status.
- Proven track record of working within a safety-first environment.
- Proven track record of ability to drive in a professional manner, achieving best in class performance relating to safety and efficiency.
