Air Personnel are looking for a B1.3 Licensed Engineer (Equal Time) to join their client in Kidlington.
Description/Overall purpose of the Job for the B1.3 Licensed Engineer:
As a B1 Licensed Engineer, you'll be responsible for the certification of maintenance and repairs on a variety of Airbus rotorcraft, including the popular H125, H135, H145 and the new H160. You will be placed on an equal time (7 day on 7 day off) roster supporting both line and base activities.
Main responsibilities:
- Accomplishment of Maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by Maintenance Supervisors. This is a certifying role that requires a Part 66 License in B1.3 (Turbine Rotorcraft). The ability to work as a team leader and to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.
- Working knowledge of UK CAA regulations most importantly Part 145, Part M and UK ANO requirements is essential.
- Completion of maintenance, including airframe structure, power plant and mechanical and electrical systems. Replacement of avionic line replaceable units, requiring simple tests to prove their serviceability.
- Supervision of maintenance fitters and the certification of their work.
- Ability to engage with the customer and positively represent the company.
Knowledge and Skills required for the B1.3 Licensed Engineer:
Essential:
- Thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems and specialised test equipment.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
- Flexible to the requirements of the company and needs of the customer.
Education, Qualifications or Training:
Essential:
- Part 66 B1.3 Licence (UKCAA).
- Currency on type.
Desirable:
- EC135 / BK117 C-2 / BK117 D-2 / BK117 D-3 Type rated.
- Type training on specific types will be given to a suitable candidate.

Additional requirements:
- Due to the nature of this position you will require DBS Security Clearance and be eligible for SC clearance.
