We are recruiting for an Independent Safety Assurance Manager to join our team! Air Navigation Solutions Limited (ANSL) is redefining the delivery of Air Traffic Management (ATM) services in the UK. We deliver air traffic control and engineering services at Scotland’s busiest Airport. We have partnered with a range of UK airports and are backed by DFS Group – one of the world’s leading ANSPs. This role plays a central part in delivering that ambition.
The Independent Safety Assurance Manager provides independent safety assurance and challenge to the Accountable Manager on the effectiveness of ANSL’s Safety Management System (SMS) and the safety of Air Traffic Management (ATM) services, ensuring appropriate separation between management system delivery and independent safety oversight. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, and with independent access to the Board, the postholder ensures that ANSL’s safety and security of service, compliance, and delivery practices remain robust, effective, and aligned with regulatory and organisational requirements. This role can be undertaken on a part-time or full‑time basis.
