We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimising our supply chain operations, ensuring the seamless flow of goods from suppliers to customers. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management systems such as SAP., * Develop and implement supply chain strategies that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.

  • Analyse supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Assist in logistics operations, including transportation planning and warehouse management.

  • Maintain accurate records in supply chain systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company policies.

  • Assist with import and customs-related queries.

  • Assist with stock levels control.

  • Preparation of reports and analysis of transport companies ‘price lists’

  • Control and recording of all shipping costs; analysis of shipments and data

  • Assisting in issuance of all shipping documents (shipping notes, invoices, credit) and customs documents

  • Communication with freight forwarders and customs brokers during the whole procedure of the shipment; monitoring and updating ETA’s for incoming shipments

  • Uploading of transportation expenses inside ERP system

  • Liaising with customers, suppliers and third parties

  • Working closely with warehouse operations team to ensure efficiency and smooth running.

  • Acting quickly resolving customer order queries, errors, amendments and additions to outbound sales orders.

  • Management of Booking in deliveries with Customers in a timely manner whilst building relationships with our customers goods in teams.

  • Management of GRN data and archives.

  • Responsible for providing POD’s on request to sales and/or customers.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

  • Knowledge in using SAP, MS Office (Excel, Outlook)

  • Experience in warehouse operations.

  • Capable of working independently under minimum supervision

  • Background in Finance or Logistics

  • Shipping experience (import/export)

  • Good organizational and communication skills

  • Good attention to detail / reporting skills

  • Open minded and flexible approach
