As a Driver / Warehouse / Internal Sales, you will be responsible for product deliveries, warehouse duties and internal trade counter sales. You will handle the safe and timely transportation of goods, general warehouse operations and trade counter sales.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
- Deliver goods to customers
- Be responsible for effecting an efficient and satisfactory delivery service to internal (branch) customers and external customers
- Store and organise warehouse stock and arrange in store merchandise
- Maintain vehicle daily check sheets and daily run sheets to a high standard
- Promote and actively ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle, warehouse and trade counter
- Process cash and card payments over the trade counter securely and responsibly
- Take initiative by informing regular customers of new products or services and price changes
- Listen to, record and relay back to the office customers complaints or concerns regarding products or services at the delivery point
- Answer customers questions about merchandise and advise customers on merchandise selection
- Be instrumental in accurate and timely stock counts
- Provide information about items, such as availability, operation or description
Are you a MATCH?
- A full, clean UK driving licence - including a valid forklift licence (training can be given)
- Previous experience within a warehouse role
- Demonstrated ability of working within a fast paced environment, maintaining high levels of customer service
- Knowledge of engineering and welding processes and requirements is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
