About the Role:
We’re seeking a Workshop Engineer to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and configuring end-user devices in line with client specifications before dispatching them to site. You'll work within a fast-paced service desk environment, ensuring all installations meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, configure, and log new client equipment in our CRM system
- Deliver, install, and configure end-user equipment at client sites as needed
- Manage and maintain our off-site workshop storage facility, ensuring smooth stock processing
- Keep client site documentation up to date and accurate
- Ensure compliance with company Information Security Management System (ISMS)
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Service Desk Engineer
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop Environments
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Backup/DRaaS, and related technologies
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Valid UK driving license
Desirable:
- Familiarity with Networking (TCP/IP, Firewall, Routing/Switching)
- Experience with Azure AD, IaaS, Intune, and Conditional Access
- Understanding of Mimecast email security
