The Integration Product Manager will lead and deliver strategic projects to consolidate and optimise Air IT’s product and partner landscape, with a primary focus on cost reduction, margin improvement, and operational efficiency across the MSP stack. This role is responsible for managing a range of initiatives, working closely with all departments to ensure successful delivery, integration with business systems including billing, CRM, and operational processes, and achievement of measurable business outcomes.
The Product Manager will also lead End of Life (EOL) programmes such as unmanaged AV to managed EDR migration, local server switch-off, Server 2016 migration to Azure, and supplier and product consolidation, ensuring technical and commercial alignment with vendors to maximise efficiency and ROI. The role may also manage projects arising from the Change Advisory Board (CAB) or other business needs, with scope expected to evolve over time.
In addition, the Integration Product Manager will play a key role in influencing the product roadmap, driving lifecycle management, and supporting the introduction of next generation services aligned to a simplified and scalable product portfolio.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Own, prioritise, and deliver consolidation programmes across security, backup, infrastructure, and cloud services, ensuring clear commercial outcomes including cost saving and efficiency gains.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Technical teams to embed consolidated solutions into billing, CRM, and operational processes.
- Lead EOL and migration programmes, including AV to EDR, server decommissioning, supplier rationalisation, firewall refresh, and cloud transition initiatives.
- Identify and execute opportunities to reduce supplier sprawl, standardise product sets, and improve service supportability.
- Work with vendors to align commercial terms and technical direction, ensuring solutions deliver measurable ROI.
- Maintain product documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communications, with clear visibility of progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Identify, manage, and resolve risks across consolidation and transformation programmes.
- Support the design and implementation of processes required to scale a simplified and standardised product stack.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and key suppliers to ensure delivery of commercial and technical objectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of product and project management practices.
- Support additional initiatives as required by the Head of Product or arising from CAB.
- Influence the product roadmap by identifying lifecycle improvements, consolidation opportunities, and supporting the introduction of new and next generation services.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 2+ years experience in a Product Manager role within IT, managed services, or technology environments.
- Proven experience delivering consolidation, migration, or EOL programmes with clear commercial or operational outcomes.
- Strong understanding of MSP product stacks, including security, backup, cloud, and infrastructure solutions.
- Experience integrating products and services into business systems such as billing, CRM, and service operations.
- Experience working with vendors, including commercial negotiation and technical alignment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure, EDR solutions, and cloud or infrastructure migration programmes.
- Strong problem solving, organisational, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to interpret performance data, identify inefficiencies, and drive improvement.
- Experience producing documentation, reporting, and structured project updates.
- Ability to work independently and across multiple teams in a fast changing environment.
- Experience working within an MSP or similar multi vendor environment.
- Understanding of vendor rationalisation and consolidation strategies across security, cloud, and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with CAB processes and structured change management.
- Experience using project tracking and management tools to manage a pipeline of consolidation and EOL activity.
- Exposure to supporting go to market activity for new or emerging technology services.
