The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

  • Reporting to: Workshop Manager
  • Purpose

To deliver machine set‑up and configuration, asset management and inventory support for both clients and internal departments.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set up new equipment for clients to specification, logging and actioning in CRM following established Service Desk procedures
  • Deliver, install and configure end-user equipment on client sites as required, Offer remote and on‑site technical support to clients, addressing their queries and issues promptly.
  • Manage and maintain off‑site workshop storage facility, following company procedure for receiving and shipping customer stock.

Keep track of inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and ensure proper storage and handling of equipment.

  • Log and action all activity in within the CRM system following established Service Desk procedures
  • Conduct quality checks on all equipment before delivery to clients to ensure it meets company standards.
  • Maintain and update accurate client site documentation
  • Support the Technical services team on any workshop related sections of projects.
  • Maintain information security by complying with the company’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) and all relevant policies

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience

  • Demonstrable knowledge as a Service Desk Engineer
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server / Desktop Environments
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Backup/DRaa S and related technologies
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Networking technologies (TCP/IP, Firewall, Routing/Switching), Azure Active Directory & Iaa S, Intune & Conditional Access Technologies and Mimecast email security
