We’re now looking for a Senior Account Manager to join our growing Sales team. This role offers a blend of new business development and existing account growth, ideal for someone who enjoys opening doors, building trust, and turning relationships into long‑term success.
The Role
In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving revenue growth across the North (Edinburgh and surrounding areas) combining self‑generated new business with account ownership and expansion. You’ll work consultatively with prospects and customers, understanding their business goals and shaping IT and cyber security solutions that deliver real value. Alongside Sales, Account Management, Service Delivery and Technical teams, you’ll ensure clients experience Air IT as a trusted, long‑term partner.
Your Impact
- Developing and securing new business opportunities through outreach, prospecting and lead generation
- Managing and growing a portfolio of SME MSP customers
- Building trusted relationships with decision‑makers and key stakeholders
- Driving retention, satisfaction and account growth
- Identifying opportunities for upsell, cross‑sell and service improvement
- Translating business needs into tailored IT and cyber security solutions
- Acting as the primary commercial contact and escalation point for your accounts
What You’ll Be Doing
- Proactively generating new business through outbound activity and market engagement
- Managing customer relationships from initial engagement through to long‑term partnership
- Running account reviews, QBRs and roadmap discussions
- Preparing and presenting professional proposals and quotations, clearly articulating value and ROI
- Working closely with Service Delivery, Technical and Cyber teams to deliver the right solutions
- Maintaining accurate pipeline, forecasting and account plans within CRM
- Achieving new business, growth and retention targets aligned to your role focus
What You Bring
Essential
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a sales or account management role within an MSP environment
- Proven ability to win new business and/or grow existing customer accounts
- Strong consultative selling approach and commercial awareness
- Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills
- Confident working in a fast‑paced, evolving technology environment
- Experience using CRM systems and digital sales workflows
- Full UK driving licence
- Able to attend the office at least two days per week and travel regionally
- Experience selling core MSP services, including:
- Managed IT support & service desk
- Microsoft 365 Azure and cloud services
- Cyber security solutions (e.g. endpoint security, backup & disaster recovery, SIEM)

- Business‑related degree
- Sales, CRM or IT‑related certifications
