This role will see you at the heart of our growth efforts, identifying new business opportunities, supporting our sales activity, and helping to nurture relationships with customers old and new. You’ll be involved in researching prospects, coordinating outreach, and assisting with proposals, presentations and client meetings. Day to day, you’ll work closely with colleagues across departments to ensure that every interaction reflects the high standards our customers expect from Air Energy. You’ll also take responsibility for maintaining and updating our CRM systems and handling a range of administrative tasks that keep the business development function running smoothly.

We’re looking for someone with at least two years of business development experience, ideally within an engineering or distribution environment. You’ll have excellent communication and organisational skills, a professional and proactive attitude, and a natural ability to build rapport. Confidence with numbers is important too, as you’ll be working with costs and margins. You’ll have GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C / 4–5 or above) and live within 15–20 miles of Hertford.
