What You'll Learn: You'll work alongside experienced engineers daily, learning on the job as you service and maintain refrigeration and air conditioning equipment on customer sites. After gaining field experience, candidates who demonstrate aptitude will enrol in our state-of-the-art training centre in King's Lynn. Training combines classroom teaching, home study, written assignments, and on-site assessments. The 18-month course leads to full qualification as a skilled Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Service Engineer with City and Guilds accreditation. You'll attend our training centre at least once monthly in 1-2 week blocks, with accommodation and meals provided. Once qualified, you'll receive your certificates and an Adcock van, continuing to develop through hands-on experience.

What You Need:

  • Minimum level 5 (C) in English and Maths or equivalent acquired prior learning
  • Own transport and live within commutable distance to Norwich branch
  • Full, valid UK driving licence
  • Flexibility for early starts and later finishes
  • Ability to work away when required
  • Construction-based experience advantageous but not essential

Training is fully funded by Adcock, subject to a Training Funding Agreement.
