We are currently looking for a stores person to oversee the stores / warehouse at our Northampton branch.
What you’ll be doing:
- Ensure engineers have the tools, parts and equipment they need at the right time and place to deliver great service.
- Pick parts and equipment required for jobs and arrange pickup or delivery to the correct site.
- Receive, process and pack away deliveries.
- Maintain stock control and keep the store area neat and tidy.
- Supply and record refrigerants and perform statutory checks such as van inspections, PAT testing and ladder inspections.

What do you need to have:
- Experience in a similar role in electrical, plumber wholesaler, builder’s merchants or comparable supplier-based industry.
- Experience within the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry is an advantage but not essential.
- Comfortable with manual handling.
- Current, valid UK driving licence (driving/deliveries to site may be required).
- Due to safeguarding requirements for our customers (many of whom are schools or hospitals), a DBS check is required.
- We strictly follow the DBS code of practice and comply with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. A criminal record may not preclude you from working for us.
