The LEAD Installer is responsible for performing a range of HVACR installation jobs for light commercial & residential customers with little supervision. Customer-based activities require an individual possessing traits of decisiveness, initiative, tact, judgment, integrity, dependability, and the ability to communicate in a technically credible manner. Job-related contact can occur with virtually all demographic groups, with the majority of working contacts being customers, other TRS Heating,Air Conditioning & Electrical Excellence technicians, the Service Manager, the Estimator and the Parts Runner.Requirements:
- Serving as the LEAD Installer of the TRS Heating, Air Conditioning & Electrical Excellence team which are organized to conduct HVACR installation jobs in an efficient and timely manner.
- Performing routine HVACR installation activities without direct oversight or on-site assistance to complete tasks at hand.
- Good verbal, reading, and writing skills, including the ability to clearly communicate with residential and commercial customers, suppliers, and other TRS Heating, Air Conditioning & Electrical Excellence employees.
- Conducting point-of-work sales of Indoor Air Quality services, unit components, unit replacements, add-on units, and referrals for the TRS Heating, Air Conditioning & Electrical Excellence sales staff.
- Current CLEAN New York driverβs license and the Incumbent must be insurable by current TRS Heating and Air Conditioning insurance carrier.
- EPA certification is a plus but not required, will provide testing to obtain.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of High school graduate.
- Three years of successful experience installing residential furnaces and air conditioning systems.
- Experience in installing boilers, generators, heat pumps and water heaters is a plus.
- Must have own hand tools and refrigerant gauges to perform the work
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding setting
- Must have the ability to work with little supervision to complete tasks at hand.
- Ability to work under pressures of time, a non-standard schedule, weather, customer needs, and backlog constraints.
